Shoes not Required

Graphite on Paper
Samantha says... "I chose to do a graphite drawing because some of my better childhood memories are of drawing, I was a prolific drawer of everything I could! Preferring a life outdoors, kicking my shoes off and exploring, my daughter is the same...shoes off and into the wonderful world of the outside we go, collecting leaves, insects, sticks and anything else her little hands can find.
Drawing is my favourite medium, graphite or charcoal, for me it has a wonderful emotive quality and depth. When I exhibit my Artwork I often include drawings as part of the collection.
My son has severe Autism, much of my work has elements of our lives coming to terms with and understanding his Autism. A high emotional quality, depth, skill and sometimes obscurity are crucial elements in the Art I create."
